If you already own an AMP LOCK and need a new lock to match your existing key, simply select the "Same Key" option and enter your key number, which can be found on your control card or key tag.
This key number should also appear in your order confirmation email.

We recommend lubricating the lock mechanism and around the cylinder monthly using a non-silicone-based lubricant, such as Prolab PL-100. WD-40 is not recommended as it is sticky and may clog the lock mechanism. Depending on the climate, you may also soak your AMP LOCK in an antifreeze solution like Prestone overnight twice a year.

1. Verify your key: Ensure your key has "REAL" engraved on it.
2. Check how far the key turns:

• The key should turn ¾ of a turn to unlock.
• If it only turns ¼ of a turn, check if the key is damaged or incorrect.
• If the key turns between ¼ and ¾ of a turn, lubricate the lock with a non-silicone-based lubricant and use compressed air to remove debris.

If the key turns more than ¾ of a turn or rotates fully, contact AMP LOCK or a locksmith, as the internal mechanism may be damaged.

If you registered your lock on our website or previously ordered extra keys, we have your key code on file. Contact us for assistance. If you did not register your lock and have no spare keys, you may need to have a locksmith destroy the cylinder to remove the lock.
