AMPLock Origins
Winter 2001,
André, founder of AMP DRUMMOND Inc, was going to retrieve his RV for a vacation trip when he found an empty parking lot and pieces of the lock supposed to protect it.
What a surprise when camera records revealed how easy it was to break a trailer lock introduced as "high-security".
An even greater surprise when he realized that there was no really stronger alternative on the market at this time.
In the following months, André created the first version of a custom-fit lock built from high-density materials with unique design that still inspires some of the best non-conventional locks you could find today.
