Kingpin Lock - 1 Cylinder Lock

I was excited to put this on my new 5th wheel, as you can see by the picture, it’s super loose and floppy and has a large gap, I’m not really impressed, I contacted the manufacturer and they told me I could rotate the pin, which I did, but it didn’t really improve, they suggested using a white plastic lube plate to make up some gap, for a very expensive lock I’m not impressed, I’m contemplating sending it all back, unhappy.

Typically the phrase is “you get what you pay for”. I wanted to spend the money to protect my 5th wheel with a great product and this is it!! Heavy duty and of the highest quality I have ever seen. Very impressed with this lock and AmpLock as a whole. I’ve had another lock of theirs prior that I had to return because of wrong sizing. Nonetheless, that was 6 months ago, but I remembered vividly how great the quality was I told myself “that’s the lock brand I will always go with”.
